Church Barn House

-1998

Studio Points converted the concrete block structure, once a barn and then a church, to a residence. A deeply cut arced path in the site's original northern field provides the dynamic geometry that locates the new garage and redefines the house interior. An open volume at the center of the house realizes the full dimension of the space with original bolt-trusses exposed at the roof and illuminated by a continuous ridge skylight.
