Shaffer House

The original rectangular house is situated along a canyon at the base of a west-facing hillside. Studio Points added a master bedroom, enclosed porch, kitchen and entry to the hill side length of the house. The new constructions are formed from the patterns of use and views that develop within the house and are further informed by the elemental forces of wind, sun and precipitation that move through the site.
