Jackbuilt House

The site included a ranch house and separate garage which we connected through a two story wedge shaped space that rises above the site to enjoy mountain views from a second floor loft. A winged entry structure directs drainage patterns from adjacent and overhead roofs down its seam and along a sheet of perforated steel draining onto the gravel drive.

Former owners of the house proclaim: "..the best house we have ever lived in.. it is so well thought out .. wonderful wonderful details were discovered such as the moon light falling through the series of skylights." (Eric Jacobson)
